Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 to 2022. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously served in the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009) and the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011); the spokesperson of the United States Department of State (2013-2015) as well as the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was an CNN political commentator from 2017 until 2020. Psaki started her professional career in 2001 by working on the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was later appointed as the press secretary's assistant in John Kerry's campaign for president in 2004. Psaki was also the communications director for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and was the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as press secretary for President Obama's 2012 reelection campaign. 20 years ago, Psaki became the spokesperson for United States Department of State. There was speculation that she would be replacing Jay Carney White House Press secretary once he left for the White House[21] were fueled by her hiring at the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as the replacement for Carney on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014. She returned to White House as Communications Director in 2015 and stayed until the end.
